About Me

I have been a registered Psychologist (AHPRA) for over 20 years with a Bachelor of Science (University of NSW, Sydney) and a Master of Arts in Psychology (University of Sydney).

I believe that the most important aspect of successful therapy, is the quality of the relationship between the psychologist and the client and I offer a non-judgemental, intuitive, compassionate, collaborative and supportive approach to working with you.

Life will always throw obstacles in our path; however, with the right support, these adversities are opportunities for personal growth and deeper insights into ourselves and others. Which ultimately leads to a more authentic, intimate and fulfilling life.

I am interested in the challenges we face as we move through different life stages and my intention is to sensitively and creatively explore what is going on for you and offer more choices and different perspectives in the way you respond to yourself and the world around you. I truly believe in our capacity to grow and change if we choose to – but we can’t always do this alone.

Background

In addition to my psychology qualifications, I studied acting in Sydney and New York which led me to working in television and documentary production for most of my career as a researcher, field producer, director and psychologist/ presenter.

Fortunately, I was able to combine my fascination for human behaviour with the media.

I have now returned to my love of acting and have established my own psychology practice – both of which bring great joy and meaning into my life.
